Mardi Gras

We marched with the Society of St. Ann.
This is not a krewe but it is a lively bunch. We marched to the French Quarter.
Enjoy....

...um, Scout, that would be "krewe" with a "K". Otherwise, this is great. Y'all were having a ball, huh? I felt as though I was with you in the parade.

I love the Brownie t-shirt. His name will live on in infamy in NOLA.

The song sounds like "When the Saints Go Marching In" to me. That was our opening hymn in church Sunday.

Yay New Orleans! Yay Mardi Gras! Yay Scout!

Was that Big Time Dick, our esteemed (Vice) President on those circular placards with the black background? If so, what did the text say?

Thanks for this blog it is an excellent resource!

Hiya. I was playing trombone at St. Anne. I still havn't been able to get anything other than a noisy phone line connection at home, but next time I have access to some broader band I'll see if I can download that to give a listen and identify the tune. I don't recall us playing "Saints".
